Kennel Cough is a highly contagious respiratory disease for dogs. Canine Infectious tracheobronchitis (the official term) is commonly contracted any place where large amounts of dogs congregate. Dogs can spread Kennel Cough to one another through airborne droplets, direct contact or contaminated surfaces like water or food bowls. The good news is that it can be treated quickly and efficiently but can be more severe in puppies and immune compromised dogs.
